JLBFIGS Miniatures Welcome to the home of JLBFIGS studios. I have been painting wargaming figures for many years and glad that you have decided to view my work. Please browse the galleries to view examples of my work. I specialize in painting historical figures, but I also paint fantasy figures and Warhammer 40K figures. I paint all of my figures to the same exacting level without various levels of costs or details. I paint using the Foundry System style of painting which involves working up from a dark coat to the lightest coat on the highlights. My prices include basing on your choice of bases. I use Litko bases exclusively for my figures, but I also have available Battlestandard bases which are similiar to Rennaisance Ink bases and Games Workshop plastic bases. If you desire other basing, I only request that you supply the bases with the figures or pay for them and I will acquire them locally. I can base the figures on any type of environment that you desire. All orders over 250.00 USD are returned with free shipping, orders under and overseas I request that you pay the return postage. I request no payment until you have seen photos of your figures, which will be posted on the web and a link sent to you. If I need to purchase the figures for you, I do require payment for the cost of the figures at the start.
Our pricing structure for commission painting is as follows: 15mm Cavalry: $4.00 and up 25mm Historical Foot: $6.50 and up 25mm Historical Cavalry: $11.00 and up 25mm Horses: $5.50 28mm Fantasy: $7.00 and up My pricing is based on a sliding scale due to the possible complexities of the various troops. I will not charge a person the same price to paint a Norman Knight as I would a naked tattoed Celt as the time involved is greatly different! |
